Here’s everything you need to know going on in the Mid-South area:
- Memphis Police are investigating a shooting that happened over on Shady Birch Drive off of Winchester Tuesday evening. When they got to the scene they found the victim deceased. No suspects have been arrested yet.
- We’ve got an update on Jan. 2 where a man called Memphis Police after finding a body in Southeast Memphis. Alfonzo Buford has now been arrested and charged with first degree murder in perpetration of aggravated kidnapping.
- The pandemic has hurt the restaurant industry in so many ways, and many owners are asking for help. Today, the Shelby County Commission is meeting to discuss a $300,000 loan program. Right now, restaurants can only operate at 25 percent capacity.
