118,000+ Without Power in Memphis, Shelby County

DEVELOPING STORY: More than 118,000 MLGW customers are without electricity after a massive storm system blew through the Mid-South. Winds gusted upwards of 90 mph and caused significant damage to homes and businesses — especially north of the city. Video shows a number of power lines snapped in half along an area near Wolfchase Galleria. KWAM will provide full coverage throughout the night and tomorrow starting at 7 a.m. on Wake Up Memphis.
