DEVELOPING STORY: At least 14 people were shot and three people were killed over what was a bloody weekend in war-torn Memphis. Two people were also stabbed.
At least five of those were involved in a shooting early Sunday morning at an Exxon gas station on South Third Street. Police say a gunman opened fire killing one person and critically injuring four others. Investigators say they only know that the suspect was in a dark-colored sedan.Another shooting was reported on Sunday afternoon on North Merton. Three victims were located and rushed to Regional One Hospital in critical condition. The suspect is described as a black man wearing a sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Meanwhile, a man was found dead at a gas station early Sunday morning. Police found the victim at the Valero gas station on American Way. Investigators say there was no sign of foul play.
