2 Armed Robberies on U of Memphis Campus

University of Memphis students are on edge after a rash of robberies – the most recent happened Monday night.
A couple was walking on Central near Deloach when they were approached by two men wearing ski masks armed with handguns, television station WREG reports.

“The suspected demanded the victims give them their belongings before leaving the scene in a four-door red Mercedes,” the television station reported.
The university also reported that a female was accosted on Norriswood. The suspect ordered her to hand over her belongings.

And on Feb. 11 a female student was approached by a black man wearing a gray “do rag.”
The suspect demanded that she hand over her personal belongings. Instead, she screamed and ran.
