Harbor Town residents are on edge Thursday after two women were nearly kidnapped in two separate incidents Wednesday evening.
One woman told Memphis police she was talking to her daughter on the phone during an evening stroll when two men pulled up in a Honda Accord.
The victim said one of the men ran up to her, put a gun to her head and snatched her phone, according to WREG – TV. She said she turned around and there was another man right behind her.Both men took off.
Later that night, Memphis police responded to another kidnapping attempt.
A second woman said she was walking east on Harbor Town Boulevard when that same Honda Accord, involved in the earlier incident, stopped in front of her with the car door wide open.
The woman told police she feared for her life and began running until a Good Samaritan jumped in and helped get her to safety.
