DEVELOPING STORY: There were some terrifying moments Tuesday evening at Academy Sports in Collierville. Shots were reportedly fired between shoplifters and police.
Collierville Police released a statement confirming only that an “incident” had occurred at the sporting goods store. They also confirmed a second crime scene at the Malco theater.“Please avoid these areas while the investigation is active. We will provide additional information at a later time,” Collierville Police said in a statement. “The two crime scenes remain active, but all suspects are in custody. There are no threats to the public at this time.”

There’s no word on if any police officers were injured in the attack.
