3 Arrested, Multiple Students Expelled in St. George’s Sex Scandal

At least three people have been arrested and multiple students have been expelled in a shocking sex scandal that has rocked the Collierville campus of St. George’s Independent School.

The Collierville Police Dept. says the victim was allegedly assaulted in an athletic facility on Oct. 8th. School officials learned of the incident from students on Nov. 5th and reported it to police.

A second person came forward on Nov. 11th to report a sexual assault that allegedly occurred on Sept. 12th.

The police department said in a statement:

This week, four search warrants were executed in connection with this incident—two in Shelby County and two in Olive Branch. As a result of those warrants, the Olive Branch Police Department charged two individuals with evidence tampering, and a third individual was charged on unrelated drug charges arising from the search warrant served in Olive Branch. We appreciate the support and assistance of the Olive Branch Police Department throughout this process.

This case is being investigated jointly by CPD Detectives and the Shelby County Child Protective Investigation Team. Investigators believe both reported assaults were linked to the same suspect.

So far no charges have been filed in the alleged assault cases.

Fox 13 identified the suspects in custody as 18-year-old Bryant Swing and 50-year-old Nakesha Rockette. Swing has been charged with tampering with evidence. Rockette was charged with conspiracy to commit a crime-felony and being an accessory after the fact.
