DEVELOPING STORY: At least three Memphis police officers were injured in a car crash while they were responding to a crime scene.
MPD tells KWAM the crash happened at Summer Avenue near Vaughn Road at 4:28 a.m. Two squad cars were involved.The officers were taken to the hospital with non-critical injuries, a police spokesperson said.
“They were checking the area of a prowler call for the suspect vehicles at the Hibbett Sports on Summer Avenue,” the MPD said in a statement.
