Video from the scene shows a badly damaged truck and the fire truck turned over on its side. Eyewitnesses tell WMC5 that the truck driver ran a red light.

At 8:19 pm, officers received a call concerning a crash at E.H. Crump and Danny Thomas involving a truck and a fire engine. Five individuals were xported critical from the scene including four Memphis Fire Fighters.
