4 Monkeypox Cases Reported in Shelby County
Four people in the Memphis area are in quarantine Tuesday for monkeypox, according to local health officials.
The Shelby County Health Department (SCHD) confirmed four people are isolated following reports of four presumptive monkeypox cases.
Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) is handing out the JYNNEOS monkeypox vaccine to people who have been exposed to the virus.

The SCHD has received a limited supply of the vaccines to provide to identified contacts who meet those criteria.
