At least one person died and 8 others were injured in weekend shootings across Memphis.
The shootings come after the city has seen a bloody stretch of violence that killed four during a shooting spree and a runner kidnapped and killed.Memphis police found a man shot to death near the University of Memphis Sunday evening.
Another victim was a teenage boy, two people shot were women and the rest were men — all in the span of 72 hours.On September 11, 2022, at 10:39 pm, officers responded to a shooting at 510 South Highland Street.
