Over the weekend, an innocent 55-year-old woman was killed in the crossfire of a street fight in the North Memphis community of Frayser.

A nearby bystander filmed the entire incident and streamed it live on Facebook. The film showed an increasingly-intense confrontation between several women. Several tried to break the windows at one person’s home. At one point, a man enters the frame and shoots the victims. Instead, he accidentally shot onlooker Patricia Bryant in the chest. She shortly after passed away. The bullet missed the great-grandchild that Bryant was holding.

“What a waste. It just leaves you completely speechless, right?” Robyn Walensky said on her show, “Wake Up Memphis.”

“Wake Up Memphis” airs weekdays from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. Central Standard Time on KWAM The Mighty 990.

36-year-old Darrell Peterson is wanted on second-degree murder charges, while 28-year-old Debra Prettie has been taken into custody on charges of vandalism and facilitation of second-degree murder.
