A Memphis driver was robbed not once, but twice at two separate gas stations Sunday.

According to Memphis police, the victim was attempting to fill up his car at the Z Market at 2903 South Perkins Road when three armed men tried to rob him. The driver fought back, managing to hang on to his belongings during the altercation — despite being injured.

20 minutes later, the driver tried another gas station down the street, the Z Market at 2903 South Perkins Road. While he was filling up, the same three suspects finished the job, stealing his wallet, cash and ID.

MPD said another driver was also robbed by the same armed trio at the Z Market.
