Walensky is calling it “Shampoo Gate,” as Pelosi was caught on a security camera getting her hair shampooed and washed and walking to the salon chair without her mask on at a salon closed in California because of the coronavirus.Armstrong & Getty telling ‘Wake Up Memphis,’ “I thought yesterday’s development was even bigger than that. Her saying ‘I take full responsibility for being set up’ is one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard a politician say, and then she claimed ‘Oh I was led to believe it was all right to go visit the salon, one person at a time.'”
Salon owners and employees across the country have been suffering during the coronavirus pandemic because of the closures and the inability to earn money.
Pelosi says she is owed an apology from the salon she visited, saying she trusted the signs that said only one customer in the building was allowed, and that it was a setup.
