‘AT LEAST 10 BULLET HOLES’ One Dead in Cordova Double-Shooting

A double-shooting on Sunday morning left one person dead and another wounded at a Cordova apartment complex, Memphis Police said.
Television station WMC reports a blue Dodge Charger was riddled with at least 10 bullet holes. A neighbor told the television station a dead body was found on the ground nearby.
“From the hood to the suburbs no one is safe,” one frustrated Memphian wrote on social media.

Memphis Police said the shooting happened around 11:10 a.m. at the Villas of Cordova on Prestine Loop.
WMC reporter Walter Murphy, who was the first on the scene, said neighbors “tell me it sounded like a transformer blew up but then they heard ’round after round of gunshots.'”
The surviving victim was taken to Regional One Hospital in non-critical condition.
Police say they don’t have any information on the shooter.
