Harold Graeter, the Associate Executive Director at AutoZone Liberty Bowl, told KWAM Wednesday the upcoming big Liberty Bowl game will have a huge impact on Memphis.
“Traditionally we have an economic impact of $15-20 million during the time of the Bowl,” Graeter said. “It’s not just the dollars, it’s the national platform, the ESPN telecast that will shine a positive light on our community and we know that this community needs that.”
Iowa State is set to play the Memphis Tigers in the big face off Friday at 2:30 CT at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium.
