Bellevue Baptist Church‘s upcoming Men of Memphis Conference is an opportunity for men of all ages to grow in their walk with Christ, Senior Pastor Steve Gaines told “Wake Up Memphis” with Ben Deeter.

The big event is the weekend of Feb. 10 and will feature a slate of exciting speakers, including former Georgia Bulldogs football coach Mark Richt and Hobby Lobby President Steve Green, as well as worship led by Mac Powell from Third Day.

“A lot of the media doesn’t want to put a godly man in a prominent position because they don’t agree with the biblical values,” Gaines said.

He went on to talk about how today’s culture is more about tearing men down than building them up and how important it is for men to fellowship at events like Men of Memphis.

“Our culture is so anti-Christian, and it is also so anti-male,” Pastor Gaines pointed out.

Bellevue’s Men of Memphis conference still has tickets available, and you can purchase yours here.
