A Virginia firefighter saw the Bible that survived an SUV fire as a sign of God’s protection.

A Chevy Equinox caught fire last Monday, July 25, on Route 29, just 15 minutes south of Liberty University in Lynchburg.

The Rustburg Volunteer Fire Department posted images of the charred vehicle on Facebook after they were able to put out the flames.

“If you look at the fire damage of the car it is totally burned out, but inside was a Bible that was still intact and mostly unburnt,” the department wrote.
