Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) joined “Wake Up Memphis” with Ben Deeter to discuss the state of women’s sports.
By removing or changing Title IX, Sen. Blackburn said that Democrats are “removing from girls the opportunity to have that experience” of sports and scholarships.
During a hearing this week, she spoke with former University of Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines, who has made headlines for her strong stance in protecting women’s sports.“I had the opportunity to take my five minutes and to really praise her,” Sen. Blackburn told KWAM.
