A bomb explosion in a Germantown neighborhood last night has residents on edge this morning.
Germantown police were called to the area of Farmington and Cordes after reports of an explosion Wednesday evening.One bomb detonated; the other bomb was defused by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office bomb squad.
“The police and bomb squad have left. Terrible experience, they said we were safe, but there is a weird smell,” one resident wrote.
Police have not said if any suspects have been arrested or a possible motive. However, people who live in the neighborhood say they saw teenagers fleeing the scene in a white pickup truck.
