Bond Set for Jewish School Shooter

A $750,000 bond has been set for Joel Bowman, who is accused of firing shots outside Margolin Hebrew Academy-Feinstone Yeshiva of the South on July 31.
Bowman has been charged with a number crimes, including carrying weapons on school premises, possessing a gun during the commission, reckless endangerment, criminal attempted second-degree murder, and assaulting a first responder.
After firing several shots outside the school, Bowman reportedly fled from police and was later stopped in his vehicle. He jumped out, armed with a handgun, and an officer fired at the suspect. Bowman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The suspect was later identified as a Jewish man and former student.
