BREAKING: Bartlett Police Officer Hit by Stolen Car

A Bartlett Police officer was hit by a stolen car earlier today, according to the Bartlett Police Department.

The officer over a suspect in a stolen car in the 1100 block of North Germantown Parkway.

The suspect hit the officer during the traffic stop.

The officer was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The department did not give any information on the officer’s condition.

“[Officers] put themselves in harm’s way to further our efforts to serve and protect the citizens of Bartlett, and for that, we thank them,” the department wrote on social media.
