DEVELOPING STORY: Memphis Light Gas and Water says power may not be restored until next Thursday. In other words, tens of thousands of residents are going to be shivering in the cold for a solid week.

But shame on MLGW leadership for refusing to address a crumbling infrastructure. And shame on Memphis city leaders who turned a blind eye to the incompetence.
