A Memphis police officer was shot and another officer was injured in a car crash Wednesday in Whitehaven, according to Citizen app.

Police say they found a crashed police cruiser and the officer driving the car was taken to an area hospital with a broken leg and injured shoulder, Citizen app reports.
Video from the scene shows a heavily damaged police car covered in yellow crime scene tape.
