2 Police Officers, 2 Civilians Injured in Car Chase

DEVELOPING STORY: Two Memphis Police officers and two civilians were injured in a wild car chase near Memphis International Airport.

Police had approached the driver of an Infiniti G37 at a BP gas station. The suspect revved the engines and took off — ramming a squad car along with several other cars.

The driver then aimed his car at one of the police officers. The cop landed on the hood of the car and fell to the ground while the second officer opened fire.

The injured officers were transported to Regional One in non-critical condition.

The suspects fled the scene striking a number of other cars leaving two civilians injured.

At some point they ditched the car and fled on foot — leading to the second officer being injured.

Both suspects were arrested.
