Three people are dead, including a shooter, after a shooting at a high school in south St. Louis, according to police.
An adult woman and a teenage girl were killed, along with several people injured. St. Louis Metro Police officers shot and killed the gunman at Central Visual and Performing Arts High School, Fox 2 reports.
Officers were called to the school just after 9 a.m. Authorities said police arrived at the high school as kids were filing out of the school.According to Fox 2, students told police the suspect was armed with a long gun. Officers then heard gunshots and ran toward the shooter. Police and the gunman exchanged gunfire.
The gunman was 20 years old. Police are investigating the shooter’s motive.
