DEVELOPING STORY: Wolfchase Galleria has been evacuated amid reports of a shooting. The Memphis Police Dept. tells KWAM that the scene is secure and the mall is closed.

One person who was inside the galleria posted this message on Facebook:
“On lockdown at Wolfchase. There was a shooting in the mall and the shooter ran through Dillard’s while we were in there. They locked us down for several minutes while police were running through the aisles. Then we were told to evacuate,” she wrote.
A grandmother posted on Facebook that she had just left the mall when people started running.“We had just left and got the kids in the car. People started running out of the mall. We asked a guy what was happening and he said they are shooting in there. We left real quick. Police, security and the first responders were coming from everywhere. I thank God we got out of there just before it happened,” she wrote.
