A massive manhunt in underway across Memphis for a dangerous man who reportedly shot eight people, including one juvenile.
The Memphis Police Department said what started as a search for a car thief turned into a huge investigation into a shooting spree happening across the city.
4 adult females, 4 adult males and one child were shot on Commerce Circle. Shots were fired on Pilot Drive. And a motorist was carjacked in the 3700 block of Shelby Drive.The suspect is a black male wearing all black minus purple shoes. He’s also wearing a black ski mask.
MPD release the following info about the shooting victims:
- 3834 East Shelby Drive- 1 Male Deceased
- 3539 Pilot Drive Shots Fired-(No Injuries)
- 3575 Commerce Circle (Shooting)-1 Male Juvenile, 4 Adult Male Females (3 Non-Critical),
- (1 Critical), 2 Adult Males (Non-critical)
He is believed to be in a white 2016 Dodge Charger with TN Tag BPT-4410. That car was stolen during a carjacking on South Perkins Road.
