‘Catch One in the Throat!’ Leftist Threatens Sen. Brent Taylor

DEVELOPING STORY: A far-left Memphis activist purportedly threatened State Sen. Brent Taylor. The activist, identified as LJ Abraham, wrote on Facebook that the Republican lawmaker looked like he was ready to “catch one in the throat” like President Trump.
In a separate video shecalled Taylor a “weak, spineless bitch” who looks like a “fuzzy ball sack.”
KWAM listeners took screen shots of the original post and expressed alarm that Taylor’s life might be in danger. The Eads Republican has been leading the effort to crack down on crime through is “Make Memphis Matter” initiative.

Abraham, an activist who is the founder of appeared to be set off after Taylor posted a video from the Eastgate Shopping Center.
“I was at Eastgate Shopping Center where there was a police and National Guard presence patrolling East Memphis to show we have restored law and order in our city,” Taylor said.
Bill Day, the general contractor who manages the shopping center, told Fox 13 he was ecstatic that National Guard troops were on patrol.
“My reaction was hallelujah,” Day told the television station. “I want my tenants and patrons to feel safe. If they don’t, they’ll leave.”
Day said crime had plummeted at Eastgate.
“We have seen a tremendous drop in crime,” he said. “However, we need to keep this up.”
Abraham claims that law enforcement later showed up at her home accusing her of “threatening Brent Taylor.”
“I can’t make this s*** up,” she said as she shared live video of a significant law enforcement presence outside her residence. “They said that Brent Taylor took what I said on Facebook as a threat.”
Abraham defended her post saying that she routinely trolls politicians and that her reference about Taylor was meant to be taken in a sexual connotation, not a violent one.
“Sen. Brent Taylor – you weak, spineless coward. I’m not going to do anything to you,” she said. “It’s weird that you sent the feds to my house.”
Yet, Abraham responded on social media to a post noting that she was “strongly considering” violence. See below:

Luke Cymbal, a vice-chair of the Republican Party of Shelby County, condemned Lawrence’s statements.
“The violent Left loves attacking conservatives with bullets to the throat,” he said, referring to the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
Abraham was not taken into custody or charged.
