When it comes to Bryant’s Breakfast, you would be hard-pressed to find a better sausage biscuit in the Mid-South.

The iconic breakfast spot, known for its country ham, sausage and biscuits & gravy, stunned longtime diners by announcing that they have decided to temporarily suspend normal business hours.

“As we all know we are living in uncertain and unpredictable times,” Phil Bryant wrote on Facebook. ” It is very difficult to know what is the right decision to make at this time. However after much thought, consideration, and prayer, the absolute safest decision is to temporarily suspend our normal business operating hours until I feel we can operate in a safe and productive environment where everyone’s health and safety is of top number one priority.”

Bryant’s has been serving biscuits & gravy at 3965 Summer Avenue for 42 years and they plan to reopen. Just when is unclear.

“We will be back,” Phil promised. “We will be back better. We will be back stronger. And we look forward to the day when we will be able to serve you and your family again.”

God bless the Bryant family and keep them in your prayers. Keep all of our city’s small business owners in your prayers!
