Memphis City Council Chairman Frank Colvett joined Tim & Ben to discuss recent meetings.
Colvett said the Council has had a preliminary look at possible redistricting maps. He shares how the maps were received.
Ford Motor Company will be receiving incentives from the State of Tennessee. Colvett discussed the benefits of a city like Memphis luring business to town with payments in lieu of taxes (PILOTs). However, at least one Council member wants to add additional strings to those payments. Chairman Colvett gave his take on the proposal.
