Collierville Police Chief Dale Lane Gives Update On KWAM

As a horrific crime unfolded in a grocery, first responders sprinted into the danger to protect and save lives.  Collierville Chief Of Police Dale Lane joined Wake Up Memphis to discuss yesterday’s shooting at a local grocery store.

Scanner traffic (LISTEN HERE) revealed an elaborate, well-organized plan was established to neutralize the assailant who opened fire inside the Kroger at New Byhalia Rd at Poplar.  In fact, the first officers arrived within four minutes.

Chief Lane shared the details of what he saw as he arrived and how the bravery of the responders likely saved many more lives.  He also shared a message about the future of Collierville.
