Commissioner: Letter From County Attorney Offers No Limit To Health Dept

If there’s a limit to the power wielded by the Shelby County Health Department, it likely won’t originate locally.  That’s the gist of a letter from the Shelby County Attorney shared by Commissioner Mick Wright today on KWAM.

Wright sent County Attorney Marlinee Iverson a letter featuring five questions, aiming for. Iverson to specify the Health Department’s scope of authority.  This week the Commissioner received a response.  You can read it below.
