A group of vulgar Christmas carolers stunned shoppers in front of the Popeyes Fried Chicken restaurant at Wolfchase Galleria over the weekend. Instead of crooning “Jingle Bells,” the carolers sang about shaking various body parts.

“Memphis being Memphis,” said one KWAM listener. “The only culture some people have is bacteria.”
“You’ve got to be kidding me,” said another. “Performing that trash in a mall, too, with small children listening to it? It is NOT funny. It is quite stupid. That’s not Christmas caroling. That’s yelling curse words at an audience.”
KWAM reached out to Wolfchase to find out of it was a sanctioned performance. A mall spokesperson has yet to respond to our inquiries.There are other videos showing the group performing at other venues across the Bluff City.
“They were also visiting houses in Bartlett neighborhoods, singing the same thing,” one KWAM listener said. “They would ask if they could sing their alternative Christians for you. Lots of upset people and some who thought it was hilarious.”
