An Alabama doctor says doing a bit of homework and quick action could help in the fight against the coronavirus.
Birmingham area Dr. David Williams joined Wake Up Memphis on The Mighty 990 this morning. He has been actively treating coronavirus patients since the start of the 2020 pandemic.
Dr. Williams is known for providing data-driven and experience-based insight to listeners. Quick to point out that there is no “one-size-fits-all” treatment, Williams noted there are things people can do to help themselves in the battle against covid. Additionally, he explained the importance of advance planning. Specifically, he cited the doctor-patient relationship, knowing in advance how your healthcare provider treats covid.Williams believes there is a widespread lack of informed consent regarding the vaccines. He explained what “informed consent” is. Also, he cited some examples of why he believes it is lacking and the possible consequences.
