Shelby County Mayor Lee Harris (D) heaped praise on District Attorney Steve Mulroy (D) for his efforts combating crime.
“He’s doing an excellent job so far,” Harris told WKNO host Eric Barnes, who asked the mayor if the criticism facing Mulroy was warranted.
“I think he’s doing everything he can from his domain to address all the concerns that are on his plate and obviously he has a big plate,” the mayor added.
Harris praised Mulroy for hosting a crime summit.
“We all got together and we all came out on one page at least for those moments,” he said. “And those are important moments and I think those have led to other kind of moments like that.”
