DEVELOPING: A FedEx pilot was reportedly shot Tuesday night.
Sources tell KWAM the pilot was asleep in his Memphis crashpad when gunfire erupted Tuesday evening. The pilot is in stable condition and awaiting surgery.
“He was hit in the shoulder. Supposedly, their crashpad was sprayed with gunfire and they were ducked down hiding,” a source told KWAM exclusively. “He’s spent his life deploying in war zones and he gets shot here!”FedEx did not confirm the shooting, but provided the following statement to KWAM:
Our thoughts remain focused on the well-being of our team member. We are cooperating fully with the investigating authorities at this time.
KWAM reached to the Memphis Police Department, but they did not confirm the shooting.
