With new loosening of coronavirus-related restrictions from the Shelby County Health Department, the Liberty Bowl can finally allow more fans to watch University of Memphis football.

Previously, the health directive had enforced the rule that 12 feet had to be between each ticket holder in the stadium, allowing only about 4,500 fans. Now, that distance has been slashed in half.

As a result, the school is now allowing fans to buy single tickets to upcoming home games.

The Memphis athletics department came out with the following press release:

Memphis Football single-game tickets on sale now

Capacity at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium for Tiger football home games has been increased due to the loosening of restrictions on social distancing from 12 feet to 6 feet between seating groups. With this increased capacity, there are a limited number of single-game tickets available for the five remaining home games. There is also a five-game package available starting as low as $125.
