First Lady Maria Lee, the wife of Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, shared an update on her cancer treatment on social media Thursday.
Mrs. Lee revealed that her disease was “in remission.”

Maria Lee expressed that the prayers and support have “sustained her” during these months of treatment.
“It hasn’t always been easy,” she said, “but not once have I felt alone, and we’ve seen God’s faithfulness every step of the way.”
