Jack Brewer, a former NFL player and CEO of Brewer Group, spoke on the nationally syndicated Todd Starnes Radio Show about the current state of the country from a spiritual perspective. With many briefly-peaceful protests erupting into chaotic, uncontrollable riots, the division in the United States is more prevalent than ever.

However, the real issue of the murder of George Floyd and racism has been buried in the mainstream media’s Trump-hating narrative.

“They’ve been able to deflect the real issue of racism,” Brewer said, who is also a Christian minister. “We have to make sure we keep our eyes on the real enemy.”

The minister even said that this issue Americans are facing is evil and even satanic.

“We’ve gotten away from the Word of God,” Brewer said.

Despite this, he said the people of God still have the power to make a change, come together and attack deep wounds. The way to not defeat this, Brewer said, is to try to fight spiritual battles in the flesh.

“I think for too long we’ve had to be politically correct and hold our tongues back from casting out those demons,” Brewer added.

These riots are partially the result of a gradual falling away from Christian values, he said.

“The voices of the people really need to be heard right now, people of God,” the former NFL player said. “Prayer will heal our nation. Reconciliation will heal our nation.”
