Germantown School Board Set to Vote on Limiting Free Speech

The Germantown Municipal School District is about to take a vote on a measure that would crack down on public comments at school board meetings.

The board is considering a new rule that would only allow comments that are on their school board agenda.

Many fear this will silence parents who raise issues about woke materials hidden inside of their child’s curriculum.

In recent months, parents were silenced during public comment for raising concerns about critical race theory and gender ideology infused into class work.

In fact, one parent, who was running for a seat on the school board, was attacked by far-left activists.

Nationally syndicated radio host Todd Starnes said the vote will set a dangerous precedent.

“I’ve long suspected that my town has been infected by wokeness,” Starnes said. “And now the board is taking measures to effectively silence any citizen who doesn’t want taxpayer funded classrooms turned into leftwing propaganda dungeons.”
