Germantown Threatens to Fire Unvaccinated City Workers

The City of Germantown is requiring all employees to roll up their sleeves and get the COVID-19 vaccine.

City workers have until Labor Day to be vaccinated or they will be “placed on administrative leave or termination,” said City Administrator Patrick Lawton.

“We are all public servants and our collective efforts are vital to the health and well-being of the people we serve, the residents of Germantown,” Lawton said in an email.

Sources told KWAM the vaccine mandate shocked a few city aldermen as many were not consulted about the implementation of the mandate.
