Giant Beaver Caught Inside St. Francis Hospital

There was quite a bit of commotion inside St. Francis Hospital Christmas morning after staffers discovered a giant beaver wandering through the building.

Police in Bartlett, Tennessee were dispatched to the scene and promptly captured the wily beast.

“Things you do not want under your tree on Christmas morning,” the police department wrote in a now-viral Facebook post. “This morning we received a call about a beaver loose inside of St. Francis.”

The beaver was located underneath a piano — eyeing the wooden legs.

“Nom nom nom piano legs,” the police department opined.

Photos show Officer Read hauling away the beaver inside a large plastic bin. Neither the piano nor the hospital’s Christmas trees sustained any nibbling. No charges were filed.

And Officer Read made sure the beaver found a good home – preferably at the nearest Buc-ee’s.
