Brown Dudley, the elusive and mysterious candidate running against Charlotte Bergmann in the GOP primary for the Ninth Congressional District, is making headlines by supporting a litany of political and cultural positions backed by Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN).

“Why does being a Republican mean I can’t be on board with gay rights, have a conversation about social justice, or be concerned about our environment? It’s okay if we don’t agree on everything,” Dudley said in a campaign video. “It’s not okay if we cancel each other because of it. Please comment and share if you’re also tired of the strict lanes imposed by the loudest people on either side. I refuse to be canceled over supporting every single American’s right to prosper.”

Dudley has been invited to appear on KWAM multiple times over the past two months. So far, his campaign has not responded to our inquiries.
