The Mid-South’s crime wave has only been made worse by the recent heat wave.
At least one person was killed and three people were shot in separate incidents across Memphis. A man’s bullet-riddled body was found at 2063 Hedman Avenue late Tuesday night.Another man was shot on East Holmes Road.

One of the more bizarre incidents happened at 1243 Lamar Avenue when a woman shot a man. The man then got in his car and ran over the woman. Both are in critical condition at Regional One.
