Civil rights attorney Ben Crump is back in Memphis, calling for the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department to hand over the body cam footage of the traffic stop that resulted in the death of Jarveon Hudspeth.
“How many more, Memphis?” Crump asked, standing alongside Hudspeth’s family during a press conference at Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church Monday.
An unnamed deputy pulled Hudspeth over and an altercation ensued.
During the altercation, Hudspeth drove off, dragging the officer 100 yards before the deputy shot and killed him.
