DEVELOPING STORY: The National Weather Service has issued an ice storm warning for the KWAM listening area. The warning will go into effect at 6 p.m. tonight and will expire at noon on Wednesday.

Significant icing is expected across Memphis, North Mississippi and East Arkansas.
Power outages and tree damage are likely, the National Weather Service warned. Ice accumulations of up to a half-inch are expected.“Travel could be nearly impossible,” the NWS said.
