DEVELOPING: Memphis Police and SCSO officers swarmed the Walmart on Germantown Parkway at Trinity Road.
One person was shot and transported to Regional One in critical condition, according to Memphis police.
The male suspect fled in a black Mazda.“Just passed 22 police officers racing down 40 towards Germantown Pkwy. I’m hearing active shooter at Walmart on Trinity,” a listener told KWAM.
Several businesses in the area on on lockdown. KWAM has reached out to MPD for additional info.

“WTF is going on in Memphis? Just passed probably 40 MPD and SCSO officers between Germantown Rd and CBHS,” another social media user told KWAM.
