Rep. Mark White won another term in the statehouse after a tough race against Democrat Jerri Green. The race was marred by hard-hitting political ads on both sides of the aisle.

“I want to congratulate Rep. White on a well fought campaign and his service to our community and the State,” Green wrote on Facebook. “A supporter told me a phrase this morning that his old football coach used to tell his team. ‘There is nothing sweeter than leaving it all out on the field and winning.
