Gov. Bill Lee (R) is celebrating June as “Great Outdoors Month” in Tennessee.

The Republican governor issued the proclamation about how Tennessee has been blessed with abundant natural resources and sites.

In fact, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the most visited National Park and generates enormous revenue for the Volunteer State. Moreover, the state parks create jobs for more than 1,500 Tennesseans.

Lee encouraged fellow Tennesseans to celebrate this month by visiting some of the 57 state parks. He pledged his commitment to maintaining these state parks with utmost faithfulness.

Take advantage of the great state parks that we have in Tennessee this summer. It’s fun for the whole family!
